Due to the increased interest in Spartacus, we’ve decided to offer a Jr. Spartacus from 6-6:30 on Wednesday evenings for 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th, grade males.
Much like the original Spartacus, its primary focus will also be on conditioning. However, we’ll also work on movement efficiency to prepare the young men for the heavy lifting they’ll do in high school. The most common movement patterns in sports will be included in every workout: squat pattern, hip hinge pattern, horizontal push, horizontal pull, vertical push, and vertical pull. Each session will last 30 minutes and will be supervised. If there’s enough interest, we’ll add another session on Saturday mornings.
Freshmen boys have the option of attending Jr. Spartacus or Spartacus. 6th, 7th, and 8th grade males MUST attend Jr. Spartacus. Because of the level of difficulty of Spartacus, we will not allow anyone younger than a freshmen to participate.
6th, 7th, and 8th grade students still cannot join the gym, nor can they use the equipment in the 24 hour area of the gym. They can purchase a $5 gym pass to attend each workout or pay a $20 monthly fee and attend all 4 workouts per month.
