What will you be doing at Small Group Training sessions?
SGT is free personal training done in a group of 5 or less participants with a certified trainer supervising and coaching you through the workouts. We will have a different Daily Workout Challenge (DWC) posted everyday here on our blog, on our facebook page, and on the new white board when you enter the gym. Each DWC will be broken into 3 different levels, Newbie Level (beginner), Fit Level (intermediate), and Pro Level (advanced). You will chose which level you are going to do before your SGT session starts.
How will the SGT be different from the way we do personal training now?
First, SGT will be free. Second, the SGT sessions and the DWC workouts will be a structured workout system and your performance will be logged at the end of each session. You will always be competing with yourself to improve your performance which will, in turn, improve the results you get.
What is going to happen with our Bootcamp Classes when the SGT sessions start?
The Bootcamp schedule is not going to change much if at all. However, starting in October we will be offering a few more new class options.
What will the new white board be used for?
We just put up a new, large white board at the front of the gym. It will be used to post the Daily Workout Challenge each day and to post the SGT schedule and bookings for each week.
What is the Powerball Contest, and how will it tie in with the SGT sessions and DWC workouts?
If you complete 3 DWC workouts per week during the Powerball Contest your name will be entered into a weekly drawing for a $25 gas card. So if you do 3 SGT session in a week you will have completed your Powerball Workouts for the week as well. You also always have the option to do the DWC/Powerball Workouts without doing them during the SGT sessions. You can do them on your own inside or outside the gym, but you must be a gym member to be in the Powerball Contest. Click here for the details on the Powerball Contest.
Please let us know if you have any other questions. If you aren’t sure about something you probably aren’t the only one.
