With the success of our basketball training this summer, we’ve decided to add a speed training camp for baseball players to our Fall schedule. The camp includes two 60 minute sessions per week (8 sessions per month). Class times have yet to be determined, but will be after 6pm during two weeknights. A typical session will include:
- dynamic warmup – 10 minutes
- movement preparation – 5 minutes
- arm mechanic drills – 10 minutes
- Proper leadoff mechanics – 10 minutes
- strength training – 15 minutes
- Speed-resistance drills – 15 minutes
Vertical jump, broad jump, and 10/30yard sprint will be electronically timed. Video analysis will also be used during sprint training.
